MULTICAM Project
MULTICAM Project aims to develop a new low cost multiespectral camera that can be placed in the field, sending images regularly

Project goals

Fisheries sector
Automatic fish identification system on fishing vessels;
Fish identification will be done by collecting image data at equally spaced wavelengths.
The identification of fish species will aim to estimate the amount of fish caught by species..

Wine Sector
Non-destructive measurement of sugars in the grape. This will be done using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
For the measurement of sugars in the grape, a selection of the most appropriate wavelengths will be made and use of these wavelengths to create a spectral index that has a high correlation with the amount of sugar.

Transport of vegetables and fruits
Analysis of the possibility of monitoring the vegetable and fruits transport process and generating alerts for potential problems or degradation of the conservation status of the food products transported.
Study of the commercial viability of a solution to monitor the evolution of perishable goods during their transport over long distances.
